In the early Twenties there was rather a lovely moment when three queens - of England, Denmark and Norway - came to tea. From this, your own fat pad, you can go and ogle all the other fat pads in the county - Holkham, Sandringham, etc etc.
The master bedroom has views of the sea so you can watch the sunset over the Wash and point at Lincolnshire over the border. There’s a cook who lives 100 metres away, brisk, brilliant and British; don’t miss out on the lamb. Whisk along the beach at Brancaster - it’s huge and epic, with dogs weaving around and coats flapping in the wind. With 30 acres of land on which sheep pootle about and room for 15
at the main house, it’s perfect for unprecious house parties. For bigger events take on the cottages too, so you can host up to 30. The Duke of Edinburgh is often seen riding down the lanes on his pony and trap."
