“Engage and Bond” at this unique venue for Residential Meetings and Events.
Welcome to Mount Amelia, the perfect venue for Residential Meetings & Events
Mount Amelia is a privately run Grade-II listed country house built in 1745 and set in thirty acres of private grounds and parkland with exceptional views across the Norfolk coast. Mount Amelia has been painstaking restored by the Marten family who see the preservation of the building as an important inherited responsibility. They have thoughtfully restored the 18th century regency architecture with all its beautiful period features.
Mount Amelia is a refreshingly different alternative to a hotel, the 4* quality Mount Amelia offers a quiet, comfortable and truly relaxing atmosphere.
Mount Amelia has considerable experience of organizing residential meetings and events. We have various rooms that can be sectioned off for meetings, training days and presentations. Nothing is too much trouble, we can cater everything to your needs and your budget.
We can also advise and arrange various outdoor “team-building” activities including Balloon rides, Clay pigeon shooting, Cycling, Go-karting, Golfing, Outdoor Adventure Centres and more.
Whatever you decide to do, you'll build up an appetite for one of Mount Amelia’s memorable private dinners prepared by our local chef with fresh local produce. Relax after dinner with a malt or liqueur and enjoy traditional games like Scrabble or Backgammon in front of a roaring fire in the Sitting Room or Drawing Room.
To fortify you in the morning, the famous Mount Amelia Full English Breakfast with all the organic, locally-sourced trimmings, freshly baked bread and croissants, organic fruit juice and freshly ground coffee, will give you the kick-start you need for the day ahead.
